Owlester ("Owlester", "we", "us") operates the website owlester.com. Owlester is currently in a pre-launch phase: the site collects sign-ups for our waitlist and shares information about the platform we are building. This policy explains what we collect today and how we use it.

When you join our waitlist by submitting your email address on owlester.com, we collect:

• The email address you provide
• Your IP address and browser user-agent, captured automatically at the time of signup
• The page or source that referred you to the waitlist form
• The date and time you signed up

We do not currently require you to create an account or provide any other personal information to use owlester.com. If we introduce account creation (including sign-in via a third-party provider such as Google or Facebook) before general launch, we will update this policy to describe what additional information that involves before it is collected.

• To send you a one-time confirmation email when you join the waitlist
• To notify you when Owlester becomes available
• To prevent duplicate or abusive sign-ups
• To understand overall interest in the platform (e.g. sign-up volume)

We do not send recurring newsletters or marketing email at this time. Transactional email (the waitlist confirmation) is sent using Amazon Simple Email Service (SES).

We may use standard web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site in aggregate. These tools may use cookies and collect information such as pages visited and general location. We do not use this data to identify you individually.

Data you submit is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, and retain it only for as long as needed for the purposes described above or until you ask us to delete it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and send email (such as our cloud hosting and email delivery providers), under obligations to keep it confidential and use it only to provide that service to us. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing info@owlester.com.

Owlester is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as Owlester develops, particularly as we move from waitlist to full launch. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

This policy is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
