Fitch Ratings Upgrades Sri Lanka Bank's Credit Rating

Fitch Ratings has upgraded the long-term foreign and local currency debt ratings of Sri Lanka Bank from CCC+ to B- with a stable outlook. The short-term ratings have also been upgraded from C to B. The bank's viability rating has been raised from CCC+ to B-, and government support rating remains unchanged at 'ns' (no support). This upgrade reflects the improved financial stability and reduced credit risk of the bank.
