Saudi Arabia Prepares for Offensive Against Houthi Forces in Yemen

Saudi Arabia is preparing a military offensive against Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen, aiming to retake control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The operation, which could involve over 100,000 Yemeni troops, is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The offensive seeks to reverse Houthi gains and restore maritime traffic through the critical shipping route. Saudi Arabia is relying on its allies for intelligence, equipment, and defensive support, but not direct combat involvement.
