Massachusetts Eighth Grader Wins $25,000 Prize for Creating Rehabilitation App

Siddharth Vikram, an eighth grader from Massachusetts, has won a $25,000 national prize for developing ReHappy, a game-based rehabilitation app aimed at making physical therapy more engaging for young patients. Inspired by his brother's car accident recovery, Siddharth noticed the lack of motivation in doing repetitive exercises at home. His app transforms these exercises into fun, game-like challenges. The prize will help him further develop the app and bring it closer to clinical use.
